You may not associate the sale with Games Workshop miniatures, but the annual Black Friday Warhammer deals are worth keeping an eye on. That's because everything from 40K to Age of Sigmar gets a reduction in November, driving prices far lower than they have any right to be.

That's why the 12DOVE bargain-hunting team and I cover the event each year. Our goal is to bring you the very best Black Friday Warhammer deals throughout the month like a Tau spy drone sent into enemy territory, and you'll find these offers below. Because we've built up a few tips and tricks in our time, we've also got advice for you further down the page. Please do steal our secrets, as they should help secure you a bigger saving.

As we get closer to the event itself, we'll add more reductions too. By the time the November 29 Black Friday gaming deals are here, this page should be awash with sales on plastic. Come back every now and then to score yourself a discount!

Black Friday Warhammer deals - FAQ

When will the Black Friday Warhammer deals start?

This year's Black Friday Warhammer deals will kick off the day after Thanksgiving and on the final Friday of the month. In other words, you can expect the discounts to occur on November 29, 2024.

Stay ready, though. While the best reductions will take place then, other savings can be found both before and after that date. Price cuts typically start a week or so beforehand, and they continue into December (at which point they're relabelled as 'Cyber Monday' deals).

Where will the best Black Friday Warhammer deals be?

If you're eager to stay one step ahead in this year's Black Friday Warhammer deals (which is very sensible, and I salute your preparedness), be sure to watch out for the following retailers. They tend to be the most reliable bets in terms of savings.

However, remember that the UK is much better off in terms of discount-wielding independent retailers. (Sadly, the US has some catching up to do there.) Although stock can be more of an issue with these smaller businesses, they almost always manage to offer a price cut on the latest and greatest products. Along with ever-reliable sources such as Magic Madhouse and Wayland Games, I've heard that Goblin Gaming, Element Games, and MTechCave are worth watching out for too. (Thanks for the heads-up, Fauxhammer.)

USA

- Miniature Market:
Comfortably the best for sales
- Amazon:
Good for starter sets and boxed games
- eBay:
Always great for reduced and used kits
- MTechCave:
Apparently a reliable source of discounts
- Walmart:
Stocks merch like Warhammer action figures
- Best Buy:
Offers Warhammer video games

UK

- Amazon:
Reliable source of starter sets and boxed kits
- Magic Madhouse:
Great range and savings overall
- Zatu: Provides regular and decent discounts
- Wayland Games: Consistently good offers on Warhammer
- eBay:
Excellent for reduced prices and used kits
- Goblin Gaming:
Often provides reductions
- Element Games:
Another good source of Warhammer discounts
- Firestorm Games: Save on 40K, AoS, and beyond

So, what sort of Black Friday Warhammer deals are we going to see in the year of our Emperor 2024? The answer depends on where you look. (We'll get into that in a minute.) I can guess what we're going to see a little more accurately though, so here's what I'm anticipating from the sale.

💰 Don't expect an official sale
Black Friday Warhammer deals are guaranteed... but if we're talking about Games Workshop itself, you may wind up being disappointed - the company doesn't tend to do sales like that in-house. Rather, they more commonly offer bonuses such as the 'Earn as you Spend' promotion for anyone signed up to the GW newsletter.

🏪 Make a beeline for independent retailers
The best place to find actual Black Friday Warhammer deals would be smaller, independent stockists. The likes of Miniature Market in the US or the UK's Magic Madhouse are always discounting GW products, and there's no way in hell they won't be doing the same thing again for this year's sale. I've already seen plenty of reductions on brand-new items, for example, from Hivestorm to Age of Sigmar Stormcast Eternals.

🆕 Most savings will be on new or recent releases
Because the biggest reductions can be found at independent retailers with a smaller capacity, most of the savings to watch out for will be found on items from the past year or so. We're talking boxsets like Hivestorm, those new Blood Angels, the fresh Stormcast Eternals and Skaven, or Underworlds: Embergard.

🎁 Big retailers will focus on starter and boxsets
Approach Amazon, Walmart, and the rest with tempered expectations. While their range isn't as broad (the more mainstream the product is, the more likely you are to find it), you can practically guarantee some money off starter sets for both Age of Sigmar and 40K. These are some of the few items that always to be in stock no matter what, so a reduction is basically guaranteed - it certainly has been over the past several years. Kill Team core boxes also appear here on the regular, so I'd be surprised if they weren't cut in price even just a little.

Warhammer 40K Introductory Set | $65 $55.25 at Amazon
Save $10 - This wasn't quite an all-time low, but at ten bucks off, it was still a bargain for a Warhammer beginner, offering the basics for building and painting miniatures.

Warhammer 40K Starter Set | $110$93.50 at AmazonSave $16 -

Warhammer 40K Starter Set | $110 $93.50 at Amazon
Save $16 - While Amazon didn't say this was a deal, this Starter Set cost $110 from Games Workshop, so is even better value.

Warhammer 40K Leviathan | $239.99$212 at AmazonSave $28 -

Warhammer 40K Leviathan | $239.99 $212 at Amazon
Save $28 - Being a limited-run set that Games Workshop didn't sell directly through it's website anymore, a complete Leviathan box was pretty rare. It was nice to see the price fall by almost $30 as a result, even though we reckon the whole set was a pretty good deal anyway!

Cadia Stands: Astra Millitarum Army Set | $150 $108.73 at Amazon
Save $40 - Sure, it said that the MSRP is $115 at Amazon. But that simply isn't true. It started out at $200, was $150 elsewhere at the time, and averaged $130. That meant we took this as a win. More importantly, that was its lowest ever price.

Warrior Starter Set | $50$42.50 at WalmartSave $7 -

Warrior Starter Set | $50 $42.50 at Walmart
Save $7 - That's really not far off the cheapest this starter set had ever been, so it was a good entry-point if you wanted to give Age of Sigmar a go.

Kharadron Overlords battletome | $55 $46.75 at Amazon

Crypt of Blood Starter Set | $110$93 at AmazonSave $16 -

Crypt of Blood Starter Set | $110 $93 at Amazon
Save $16 - The new Warcry set wasn't strictly listed as on offer, but because the MSRP was $110, we included it. It'd never been cheaper so far as we can tell, either.

Deathgorge | $89.94$80.75 at AmazonSave $9 -

Deathgorge | $89.94 $80.75 at Amazon

2023 Starter Set | $60 $51 at Walmart
Save $9 - Although it wasn't listed as a deal, per se, that was its best price and a solid $9 off. Basically, it was a the best possible offer if you'd like to learn the ropes of this game.

Legiones Astartes Battle Group | $210$185.95 at AmazonSave $24 -

Legiones Astartes Battle Group | $210 $185.95 at Amazon
Save $24 - That was still quite pricey in the grand scheme of things, but it was a decent discount on the whole. In fact, the price had been swinging up and down recently.

Battle of Osgiliath | $210$178.50 at AmazonSave $32.50 -

Battle of Osgiliath | $210 $178.50 at Amazon
Save $32.50 - This entry-level box set for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game had been cheaper in the past, but not by much. Plus, we'd not seen that record-low price since around March, so this wasn't too bad overall in terms of Black Friday Warhammer deals.

The Army Painter Speed Paint Mega Set 2.0 | $139.98$112.94 at AmazonSave $26 -

The Army Painter Speed Paint Mega Set 2.0 | $139.98 $112.94 at Amazon
