Black Friday Meta Quest deals are a mainstay of this holiday sales period, and I've been covering them each November for a good few years now. They always deliver, whether it's a headset discount, accessories dropping to their best prices, or games, apps, or retailer bundles bringing in the goods. This year could be a really interesting one, especially with how competitive the VR market is getting in 2025.
The last two years haven't been heavy hitters in the headset deals department, mainly because both the Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S were brand-new releases when Black Friday rolled around. It's unlikely that a third headset will launch in October this year (at least at the time of writing this), but with potential new devices from Asus and Samsung, we might see some chunkier discounts as Meta tries to stay competitive. PSVR 2 has also just taken a massive, official, and permanent price cut which now makes it cheaper than a Quest 3, so it's bound to be a great Black Friday season as all these manufacturers try to outdo one another.
With all the Black Friday gaming deals going on at this time of year, and potentially the best VR headsets discounted, it's best to plan long-term so you know how much to save throughout the year. What to expect from Black Friday Meta Quest deals in 2025
The Meta Quest 3S is now here, and it has definitely caused some shifts in the landscape of VR prices. The 128GB Meta Quest 3 has now been retired, meaning that it'll get harder and harder to find stock soon. Meanwhile, as we feared, the Quest 2 has also been discontinued to make room for the Quest 3S's lower price. The Quest Pro is now out of the picture, too, but that's not necessarily a tragedy.
The 512GB Quest 3 remains an enthusiast-level option, and its price has just dropped to $499 as a result. The Quest 3S starts at 128GB and has a price of $299 but has a higher capacity 256GB model for $399. At present, you can still get Batman Arkham Shadow at no extra cost with any purchase of a Quest 3 or 3S That's unlikely to last until Black Friday 2025, but we could see a new bundle by then.
With seemingly no new headsets coming from Meta this year, it leaves the Quest 3 and 3S as highly probable discount devices. We might see straight discounts from various retailers, but we might also see a new bundled game come into effect, or some of the accessory bundles dropping in price. The Quest 3 could also come with its 6-month trial of Meta Quest+, and this might be a better way to entice new players away from a different brand's headsets.
What's more certain is that some of the best Meta Quest accessories will continue to see big discounts. These always make up the majority of the deals we find, and they're a fantastic way to improve your headset's quality of life. Will you go for a new head strap that extends your battery life? Will you grab a charging stand so your controllers don't constantly run out of life? Or will you get yourself a carrying case so you can take some spatial computing power on the go? These types of things are always discounted during Black Friday, so if nothing else, prepare for those.

Black Friday Meta Quest deals officially kick off on November 28, 2025. However, every year, the deals seem to continue into December. We'd recommend keeping an eye on Cyber Monday events and preparing for the best offers to hit the shelves when the holiday season starts.
