Black Friday graphics card deals 2024: all the discounts hitting the shelves
The best Black Friday graphics card deals you can find are here!
Black Friday graphics card deals are still ongoing, and they're about to get a Cyber Monday second wind. I'm expecting most of the current offers to stick around until after December 2, but I'm also hoping for some fantastic new savings on entry level GPUs and premium powerhouse components to join thje party.
If you're after any of the best graphics card options and deals, the middle specs are where you'll find the best savings - like super cheap RTX 3050 cards for $152.99, for example. Sadly, we're still waiting for flagship cards like the RTX 4090 to actually drop in price, but there's every chance we'll still see some record lows emerge. It feels like that's unlikely to happen given prices haven't budged in two years, so perhaps don't get your hopes up for any ridiculous Nvidia discounts.
One thing to note here is that next-gen RTX 5090 graphics cards are almost certainly arriving next year. When that happens all the current-gen GPUs you can see here will almost certainly see some significant price drops as they become superseded. It's also worth being aware that options like the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX have previously dropped as low as $709 from it's $999.99 RRP. And if that doesn't happen today it could well happen in a Cyber Monday GPU deal next week.

Today's best Black Friday graphics card deals
ASRock Radeon RX 6600 | $209.99 $189.99 at Newegg
Save $10 - RX 6600 models can reach as low as $150, but under $200 for a capable 1080p GPU is still worthwhile. Now it's Black Friday, this is still a good deal if you don't have a lot of budget, but better value is available for more money.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a budget GPU that packs a punch
✅ You're building a low-spec system
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want to play new games without compromise
❌ You're aiming for 1440p visuals
Price check: Amazon: Out of stock | Walmart: $189.99
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3050 WINDFORCE OC | $179.99 $152.97 at Amazon
Save 15% - If you're looking for a reliable but super cheap GPU this Black Friday, the RTX 3050 is down to nearly $150. That's a pretty excellent price for a 1080p card with DLSS compatibility, and it'll run recent releases if you're willing to play with settings.
Buy it if:
✅ You're looking for a cheap 1080p card
✅ You're building a super cheap rig
✅ You still want to play new games
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want to play at 1440p
❌ You don't want to tweak settings
Price check: Newegg (out of stock) | Walmart (out of stock)
XFX Speedster SWFT210 Radeon RX 7600 | $269.99 $249.99 at Amazon
Save $20 - The RX 7600 is a fantastic entry level card that can put up a fight against slightly more premium models. Not only that, but we're $10 away from Amazon's own lowest ever price here. Things did drop to $199 back in August, but that was only for a day or so - this is generally the cheapest this card has been all year.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a cheaper RDNA 3 model
✅ You're building an entry level PC
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want to future-proof
Price check: Best Buy: $249.99 | Walmart: OOS
Acer Predator BiFrost Arc A770 | $399.99 $229.99 at Newegg
Save $170 - Newegg and Walmart continue to battle on price. The next battleground? The Acer version of Intel's A770. This is normally pretty pricey, but it has dropped below $230 in time for Black Friday. You're getting a pretty capable 1440p GPU here with 16GB VRAM, and while its AI upscaling tools aren't anything special, it's still a great addition to any gaming PC.
Buy it if:
✅ You want cheap 1440p specs
✅ You need at least 16GB VRAM
✅ You're focused on native performance
Don't buy it if:
❌ You'd prefer access to Nvidia DLSS features
❌ You don't really need 16GB VRAM
Price check: Amazon $365.39 | Walmart $239.99
MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3060 12GB | $329 $284.98 at Walmart
Save $44 - Not a massive saving by any means, as this has increased in price by a few bucks compared to Amazon's earlier deal. Yet, if you're on the hunt for a cheap GPU with more VRAM than other entry-level cards, this RTX 3060 deal is well worth a place in your gaming machine if you want something lower-end.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a budget Nvidia GPU
✅ You mostly play at 1080p
✅ You're willing to dial back settings
Don't buy it if:
❌ You'd rather pay more for the RTX 4060
❌ You want access to DLSS 3 features
Price check: NewEgg $284.99 | Amazon $299.99
UK: £229
GIGABYTE Radeon RX 7600 | $279.99 $259.99 at Amazon
Save $20 - A small $20 Black Friday discount, but worth including as a reminder to check in on, though currently competing retailers seem to have settled on this point for now. We think it'd be better with twice the discount ideally, but if it's not budged yet on Black Friday this may be the best it gets.
Buy it if:
✅ You want new gen 1080p performance
✅ You're looking to spend less on a new-gen GPU
Don't buy it if:
❌ You're not looking for midrange performance
❌ You're willing to tweak settings to gain frames
Price check: Best Buy: Out of stock | Newegg: $259.99
UK: £249.98
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 | $319.99 $284.97 at Amazon
Save 11% - The most entry level GPU in the RTX 40 series, this is nevertheless a great price. The discount is aided by the fact it was superseded by the RTX 4060 Ti, but as that's much more expensive this is a really nice deal.
Buy it if:
✅ You want to upgrade to the RTX 40 series
✅ You want an excellent value price
✅ 8Gb of VRAM is enough
Don't buy it if:
❌ You can afford the RTX 4070 and above
UK: £276.44
Asus ProArt GeForce RTX 4060 OC | $369.99 $314.48 at Amazon
Save $55.51 - One of the cheapest RTX 4060 cards at Amazon right now, and a low on this Asus model specifically. This range is more art focused than gaming focused, meaning it's great at handling plenty of load. Which means it'll still fare well for gaming, even if it's not specialized to that end.
Buy it if:
✅ You need great 1080p performance
✅ You want access to DLSS upscaling
Don't buy it if:
❌ You'd rather play at 1440p or 4K
❌ You've got a mid-range or high end build
Price check: Best Buy (out of stock) | Newegg (out of stock)
ASRock Radeon RX 7600 XT Steel Legend | $370.99 $329.99 at Amazon
Save $41 - So far all retailers able to keep this hot deal in stock have settled on this sub-$330 price. This impressively large 16GB GPU was sitting above $450 earlier in the year, and it's a strong option for players needing more VRAM for cheap. Similarly priced cards are going to likely feature 12GB at most, and this card will actually fair nicely in 4K games with settings tweaked.
Buy it if:
✅ You need plenty of VRAM for less
✅ You're mostly planning to play at 1080p
✅ You want 1440p and 4K flexibility
Don't buy it if:
❌ You're looking for the best AI tools
❌ You'd rather invest in higher specs
Price check: Newegg $329.97 | Walmart $329.99
Maxsun GeForce RTX 4060 iCraft OC Edition | $368.99 $349.99 at Amazon
Save $19- Not remotely the cheapest RTX 4060 out there right now, but a decent price considering it features a limited edition anime design. It's current down to its lowest price, and has now been matched by competitors with it in stock.
Buy it if:
✅ You like cute anime designs
✅ You want modern 1080p performance
✅ You need a white GPU
Don't buy it if:
❌ You don't want a white GPU
❌ You'd pay less for an ordinary card
Price check: Newegg $349.99 | Best Buy (out of stock)
ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4060 OC Edition | $389.99 $349.99 at Amazon
Save $30 - A nice little deal on a great entry level GPU into the RTX 40 series. It might only have 8Gb of VRAM, but this nifty card packs great performance right out of the box making this a great option for high-end 1080p or 1440p gaming.
Buy it if:
✅ You game at 1080p or 1440p
✅ 8Gb of VRAM is enough
✅ Great air venting appeals
Don't buy it if:
❌ You can afford the Ti edition or RTX 4070
ASUS ProArt GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB OC Edition GDDR6 | $529.99 $449.99 at Amazon
Save $80 - This is more of an art/creativity leaning GPU, hence the ProArt name and the three months of Adobe Creative Cloud that comes with it. But it's more than capable of handling games with great ray tracing performance and overclocking potential. Retailers are settling on this price point, making this one of the best deals out there at the moment.
Buy it if:
✅ Plan on taking full advantage of DLSS 3
✅ Want high performance and power efficiency
Don't buy it if:
❌ Can't fit a 2.5 slot card
Price check: Newegg $449.99 | Walmart $449.99
UK: £442.46
PNY GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB | $449.99 $389.97 at Amazon
Save $60 - This is one to watch, as this model of the RTX 4060 Ti was $30 cheaper in last year's Black Friday graphics card deals. Still, we haven't seen prices running close to that since April.
Buy it if:
✅ You're upgrading from an RTX 3060
✅ You want solid 1080p framerates
✅ RGB is a priority
Don't buy it if:
❌ You can get by on a regular RTX 4060
Price check: Walmart $389.99 | NewEgg $389.99
UK: £394.99
Gigabyte Radeon RX 7800 XT GAMING OC | $499 $469.99 at Amazon
Save $30 - The tiny discounts have given way to this heftier price cut at Amazon, making this pretty up-to-date AMD card a really nice price. It might be mid-range in the RX 7000 series, but anything in that range is a great get, and this is really great value for money.
Buy it if:
✅ You want solid mid-range performance
✅ You're aiming to run games at 1440p
✅ You'd like to dabble with 4K
Don't buy it if:
❌ You're looking for a 4K card for future games
❌ You need robust AI upscaling tools
Price check: Newegg $489.99 | Best Buy (out of stock)
ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 4070 Super OC Edition | $639.99 $589.99 at Amazon
Save $50 - If you're looking to put a little extra juice in your gaming PC this is a great pick, nudging you from that mid-range towards higher-end power, and with a really nice discount.
Buy it if:
✅ You want great 1440p performance with 4K options
✅ An RTX 4080 is too expensive
Don't buy it if:
❌ You can afford an RTX 4070 Ti Super instead
Price check: Walmart: $619.99
Gigabyte Radeon RX 7800 XT Gaming OC | $489.99 $469.99 at Amazon
Save $20 - This is one of the cheaper RX 7800 XT cards you'll find before Black Friday. The closer this model gets to $450 the better, making it fantastic value for the price it's at.
Buy it if:
✅ You want extra cooling
✅ You're interested in overclocking
✅ You're looking to play at 1440p/4K
Don't buy it if:
❌ You've got limited case space
❌ You'd prefer a smaller GPU
Price check: Newegg $489.99 | Walmart $469.99

Save $20 - This Newegg deal means you can further boost your deal with promo code BFDDY2A654. This is a great offer on one of Radeon's best GPUs, and is in line with similar deals we've seen so far. It's also a lovely white color, which some will love
Buy it if:

✅ You want a gaming powerhouse
✅ You want a massive 20Gb of VRAM
Don't buy it if:
❌ You'd rather have a Geforce GPU
❌ You hate white hardware

XFX Speedster MERC310 Radeon RX 7900 XT with 20GB GDDR6 | $749.99 $649.99 at Bestbuy

Buy it if:
✅ You want to play high-end games
✅ You can't afford the RX 7900 XTX
Don't buy it if:
❌ Your build is more compatible with NVIDIA cards
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER | $819.99 $769.99 at Newegg
Save $50 - The Ti Super is towards the top end of the GeForce's options, hence this costing a little more than some of its competition. However, for that extra price you'll get something not that far off 4080 specs for a faction of the price.
Buy it if:
✅ You can squeeze your budget for that last bit of 4070 Ti power
✅ You want the best value for per buck
Don't buy it if:
❌ You're not too bothered about the absolute upper reaches of graphical finesse

ASUS TUF RX 7900 XTX OC Edition 24GB GDDR6 | $1,099.99 $959.99 at Amazon
Save $139 - This is a technically a better deal than the XFX RX 7900 XTX below, even though it still costs more. The difference here is that this version built explicitly for overclocking, with fans and components designed to take the extra load that entails.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a 4k and high FPS
✅ You want RTX 4080 SUPER level performance

Plus, its sleek look is just killer.
Buy it if:
✅ You want to balance gaming with professional computing work
✅ You want something that's sleek but without a gamer aesthetic
✅ 16GB VRAM is enough

❌ You are only focused on gaming
FAQ
When will Black Friday graphics card deals start?
Black Friday will fall on November 29th, 2024. While we do usually see the majority of Black Friday gaming deals hitting the shelves in the week leading up to this big day, the best of the best is reserved for the main event.
Of course, you'll still find numerous discounts popping up from around the end of October that can be considered close to the quality of Black Friday. In fact, we'd argue the week before can be just as good if not better than Black Friday itself for graphics card deals.
Where will the best Black Friday graphics card deals be?
The top retailers usually involved with the best prices in the US include Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, and Walmart. On the other hand, those in the UK will typically will come across some big discounts at Amazon UK, eBuyer, Currys, Laptops Direct, and CCL Computers.

What to expect from Black Friday graphics card deals
At this stage, we can't really call RTX 4000 and Radeon 7000 series GPUs new-gen. The dust has more than settled on Nvidia and AMD's current offering, which normally means we'll start to see discounts. I say normally, as the industry is still feeling the after-effects of inflation and long-term out-of-stock signs following component shortages. Things are admittedly better than they were, but there's still a distinct lack of discounts below MSRP.
All that aside, every card should technically be eligible for a discount this year, including the RTX 4090. As a reminder, the flagship card's recommended retail price is $1,499 / £1,649, so you'll ideally want to wait for prices that are at least below that. If there are any custom cards with higher tickets with a decent saving applied, we'll be sure to highlight them. But, as a general rule of thumb, you should try and avoid paying over the odds unless you absolutely have to.
One of the main differences compared to last year is that both Nvidia and AMD have expanded their current-gen range. In the green corner, new RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super contenders are now available, while AMD now has added mid-range Radeon RX 7700 and RX 7800 cards to its roster. In theory, that means the non-super versions of these cards could receive a bigger discount, as we're already seeing permanent price cuts since the new GPUs arrived.
It's worth noting that Nvidia and AMD aren't actually the only horses in the GPU race right now, as Intel Arc graphics cards are still a thing. Options like the Intel Arc A770 could be a solid way to bag a card for well under $300, as we've already had excellent discounts bring it down to just $269.99. Again, aiming for a card that fits the rest of your setup is key when sticking to a budget, as it'll save you from having to worry about upgrading other components or your monitor to suit.
The main thing that's really going to shake up the scene is the arrival of new GPUs. All we have is rumors to go on right now, but there's every chance Nvidia and AMD will launch new graphics cards either just before or during Black Friday. There's no guarantee that any reveals will actually impact current prices, as new models could just go out of stock instantly. The most important factor is demand, and if current gen models are all that's available, price tags will remain solid.
Is Black Friday a good time to buy a graphics card?
It's been proven time and time again that Black Friday (and the weeks surrounding the sales event) can save you hundreds of dollars on graphics cards. However, this year's even may feature even better savings, as last-gen prices are starting to drop below MSRP following an extended period of inflation.
Does Nvidia do Black Friday?
Nvidia graphics cards usually drop in price on Black Friday, and you might be able to snag deals directly on the GPU giant's storefront. That said, Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart all stock a bunch of the green team's cards, so you'll want to watch all corners of the internet to catch the best deal.
Are GPUs finally getting cheaper?
Graphics card prices are starting to normalise, and inflated prices are less common. However, new-gen cards do feature a higher MSRP than their predecessors, meaning you'll end up paying more if you're looking for the latest models.
Using a blend of our own expertise and reliable price comparison software, we crawl the internet for the latest graphics card deals as soon as they pop up. While some offers might appear to be great on the surface, we're always careful to compare each GPU's discounted price against its official MSRP, as well as similar spec rivals. That way, you can pick up a new graphics card knowing its a proper deal rather than an inflated price simply returning to normal.
While searching for deals, we always keep a look out for graphics cards at every price point, rather than just premium GPUs with deep discounts. That's incredibly important to us, as we want to ensure every player can find a great bargain for their PC regardless of their budget.

I’ve been messing around with PCs, video game consoles, and tech since before I could speak. Don’t get me wrong, I kickstarted my relationship with technology by jamming a Hot Wheels double-decker bus into my parent’s VCR, but we all have to start somewhere. I even somehow managed to become a walking, talking buyer’s guide at my teenage supermarket job, which helped me accept my career fate. So, rather than try to realise my musician dreams, or see out my University degree, I started running my own retro pop culture site and writing about video games and tech for the likes of TechRadar, The Daily Star, and the BBC before eventually ending up with a job covering graphics card shenanigans at PCGamesN. Now, I’m your friendly neighbourhood Hardware Editor at GamesRadar, and it’s my job to make sure you can kick butt in all your favourite games using the best gaming hardware, whether you’re a sucker for handhelds like the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch or a hardcore gaming PC enthusiast.
