2024's Black Friday electric scooter deals are zooming into view, so it's time to sound the bargain alarm. Even though not every retailer is getting in on the action yet, the likes of Best Buy and Walmart have kicked things off early. Even Very in the UK has open the floodgates on its discounts.
Getting stuck in sooner than later is a good idea. Seeing as these devices can be so pricey at the best of times, Black Friday electric scooter deals are more than worth keeping an eye on no matter when they take place. Indeed, previous sales suggest that they're your best opportunity to save on these devices. They rarely get better offers. That's why the team and I have put together this guide of the best offers.
We've been covering the event for a long time now, so have also built a wealth of handy tips for anyone shopping in November. That includes which retailers to keep an eye on, what constitutes a good offer, when to strike, and what models are likely to enjoy a saving based on last year's efforts.

Today's best Black Friday electric scooter deals
Segway G30 Max | $999.99 $599.99 at Best Buy
Save $400 - I'm not able to find a better deal on this premium electric scooter right now, which means it jumps to the top of the pile so far as Black Friday offers go.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a high range
✅ You want a respected brand
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want something cheaper
Price check:
💲 Walmart | $798
💲 Amazon | OOS
⭐ UK price: Unavailable
Segway Max G2 | $999.99 $799.98 at Amazon
Save $200 - The previous low I saw on this model last year was almost $870, so it dropping even further is a big deal. Actually, it's never been cheaper. Because it's labelled as a Black Friday electric scooter deal at Best Buy, I don't see it being discounted much more.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a premium scooter
✅ You want a larger range
Don't buy it if:
❌ You're happy with cheap options
Price check:
💲 Best Buy | $799.99
💲 Walmart | $799.98
⭐ UK price: £729 £659 at Currys
Kistp scooter | $1,299 $329 at Walmart
Save $970 - I can't find this scooter anywhere else so I think it might be a Walmart exclusive (and thus I can't compare price history), but boy what a good reduction. Sadly, the dog is not included in this Black Friday electric scooter deal.
Buy it if:
✅ You travel with a pet
✅ You want a seated scooter
Don't buy it if:
❌ You're sad it doesn't include the dog

💲 Walmart | Unavailable

Bugatti 9" scooter | $1,200 $799.99 at Amazon (with coupon)
Save $400 - This is the cheapest I've seen the fancy-pants Bugatti electric scooter go for, and considering how much you're getting off the sticker price, I'd say it's a worthy inclusion ahead of this year's Black Friday electric scooter deals. Just remember to hit that coupon for the full reduction!
Buy it if:
✅ You want a high-end scooter
✅ You want a classy brand
Don't buy it if:
❌ You're happy with cheap alternatives
Price check:
💲 Best Buy | OOS
💲 Walmart | $1,200
⭐ UK price: Unavailable
HiBoy S2 | $499.99 $299.99 at Best Buy
Save $200 - This may not be the HiBoy S2's lowest ever price, but considering how it averages $350ish most of the time, it isn't a bad discount either.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a decent mid-range scooter
✅ You don't need to go large distances
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want a higher operational range
Price check:
💲 Amazon | $399.99
💲 Walmart | $399.99
⭐ UK price: £599.99 £399.99 at HiBoy
Hovermax H85F | $599.99 $269.99 at Walmart
Save $330 - I'm not tremendously familiar with the brand, but you simply can't argue with that kind of discount. It's not ever Black Friday yet, and that's what I'd expect from the November sales.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a mid-range scooter
✅ A 19-mile range sounds about right
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want a more familiar brand
Price check:
💲 Amazon | OOS
💲 Walmart | OOS

Black Friday electric scooter deals FAQ
When will Black Friday electric scooter deals begin?
It's a lot easier to pinpoint when events like Black Friday will take place than it is with sales such as Prime Day; they always occur on the final Friday of November. With that in mind, this year's Black Friday electric scooter deals are due to drop as of November 29.
Well, sort of. Although the name would suggest a single day of sales, that simply isn't true. The discounts start much earlier than that and can kick off as of early November. They tend to run into December as well, albeit under the 'Cyber Monday' label.

What to expect from Black Friday electric scooter deals
There are plenty of wheels on the market now, and with extra competition comes some particularly low prices in the Holiday sales as everyone tries to one-up each other. That was certainly the case last year, so we're expecting great things in 2024.
No matter what your requirements are (be it mileage, battery life, max weight, portability, or something else), there is bound to be something for you in the November sale. We say this from experience; in 2023, premium models, cheap scooters, and everything in between enjoyed a reduction. The already-affordable iScooter i9 hit its lowest ever price by $25 or so, for example, while premium models including the Niu KQi3 Max reached a record low as well.
These offers were available from retailers like Amazon to manufacturers' own stores, so we anticipate the same being true in 2024. And while Best Buy and the rest are unmatched in terms of variety, those manufacturers normally have them beat in terms of sheer value. They usually provide the most enticing price cuts, so if there's a particular brand you prefer (Segway, for instance), watch out for the official site.
As for what you should keep a particular eye out for, a premium model by the same company we mentioned earlier (Niu) called the KQi3 Pro is arguably one of the better electric scooters on the market right now. Because it got a modest but eye-catching reduction last year, we've got our fingers crossed for a bigger one in 2024.
What should you look for in an electric scooter?
Choosing the right model for you is going to be essential in finding the best Black Friday electric scooter deals. You can spend some serious cash on these rollers, but if you're spending above your needs that's going to be wasted. Similarly, splashing too little can see you lumped with a set of wheels that can't hack your routine. The two main factors you should consider first are max speed and max range. A scooter battery can only take you so far, after all.
In general, the majority of scooters under $300 / £300 can max out at around 15mph for 10 miles, boosting up to $500 / £500 will extend things to up to 20 miles while keeping a similar speed, and premium models reaching past this point will generally hit 20mph speeds for between 20 and 26 miles.
You will also need to check the weight limit of your chosen scooter. Generally, most rides can take between 200lb and 300lb of weight, but there are options over that scale as well. It's important to factor backpacks into this equation as well.
Consider your route too - speed is one thing but acceleration and hill-climbing is another. The majority of cheaper electric scooters will only come packed with a 250W motor, which likely won't see you up the steepest of inclines. If you're going to be powering up hills, we'd recommend looking at models with 300W of power or more. Similarly, a bumpy road may be your nemesis if you don't take a look at your tyres. Pneumatic wheels are falling down the price scale quickly these days, offering a smoother ride for far less cash than we were seeing just last year. Rubber tyres are even cheaper still, but you will need feel those potholes all the more.
