Black Friday 4K projector deals 2024: everything to expect this year
Black Friday 4K projector deals will be back before you know it - here's everything we can expect from November 2024.
If you're looking to upgrade your home theatre this holiday season, you'll want to keep in touch with Black Friday 4K projector deals. UHD big-screen devices are usually priced towards the top of the market, but with seasonal discounts those numbers and sometimes reach into the mid-range of the bracket. Plus, with technology getting cheaper there are far more affordable options on the shelves these days.
Last year we saw everything from the LG Cinebeam to XGIMI's popular Horizon Pro taking major price cuts in the Fall event. With some of the best projectors on the market dropping by up to well over $1,000 there was plenty of value on the shelves. We expect this to continue into 2024's Black Friday 4K projector deals, and since the heavy hitters from last year's sale will have had another 12 months on their lives those savings could be even larger.
Not only that, but we'll have a whole roster of new 4K projectors to contend with in this year's Black Friday projector deals. With BenQ, XGIMI, and LG in with new devices for 2024, picking up one of the year's biggest releases could be cheaper than ever.

Black Friday 4K projector deals: what we expect to see in 2024
These kinds of offers will sit at the very top of this year's Black Friday projector deals price range. Projectors in the 4K realm are, indeed, some of the most expensive by default. It's no accident that we're seeing the same price differences in projectors as we were once used to in TVs: the higher the resolution the more money you need to spend. And while that's still the case, generally, the tech is getting more affordable. The fact remains that Black Friday 4K projector deals are the best placed to get the most for your money, year in, year out.
We will be seeing some great 4K models from the top table drop to record low prices this year, and offer immense bang for buck value. The likes of Epson, XGIMI, BenQ, ViewSonic, and Optoma will all likely get in on the act with their most premium models having their time in the deals sun.
2024's offerings are already looking well-primed for some Black Friday 4K projector deals. There are three models in particular we'd recommend keeping a close eye on; the BenQ X3100i, XGIMI Horizon Ultra, and LG Cinebeam Q.
The first is a gaming projector but it can still tussle with the best of them when it comes to everyday entertainment. The 4K pixel-shifting projector initially hit the at $2,399 right at the end of last year, but has since dropped to $2,199 fairly regularly over the last few months. At the very least, we would expect to see it at this position come Black Friday, but if things go particularly well those numbers could drop to $1,999.
The XGIMI Horizon Ultra is for those going all-in on their home cinema. It's a recent release that nails its setup, extra features, and overall brightness, offering excellent 4K picture with a design that won't break up a living room decor. This is slightly cheaper as well, starting life at $1,699.99. We generally see discounts of $100 on this model when sales hit, but it's dropped as low as $1,444 in recent sales, giving us hope for a sub-$1,400 position in November.
The LG Cinebeam Q has a prestige to it that few 4K projectors manage to boast. The latest model hit the shelves in March 2024, sporting a unique metallic look and a tiny portable form factor. This is among the cheapest 4K models on the market, occupying a $1,299.99 MSRP but regularly dropping below four figures. We've seen it go as low as $896.99 over the summer this year, but is generally found for between $900 and $950 day to day. We're optimistic for a return to that $899 price point over Black Friday.

Do 4K projectors go on sale for Black Friday?
They absolutely do. And not only can we be really certain in saying that - we've been doing this for years at this point - but Black Friday 4K projector deals are some of the biggest and best out there when the deals start flooding in properly.
This is because, as the phrase goes, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Meaning that those products and tech items with the highest starting points and largest price tags are often the ones to get the biggest and deepest price cuts - certainly be percentages anyway. And, by extension of that, as 4K projectors are the units in the field that demand the higher price tags by default, these are the ones we often see the most exciting deals on.
Is 4K worth it for a projector?
4K is definitely worth it for those after a high quality picture from their projector. Whether you're gaming or streaming UHD content, you'll find sharper picture, greater detailing, and a crisper overall effect if you opt for a 4K projector.
