Why you can trust 12DOVE
Black is especially in love with reloading; when you run out of bullets, the world around your gun blurs into the background as you lift it up, pop out the clip and gaze at the new one before slapping it in. This is great for indulging a gun fetish, but not so useful in the middle of a red-hot firefight. As much as it's a pain in the ass, though, it adds a strategic element in that it teaches you to stick to cover or be caught with your pants down.
The story of a military black-ops mission gone wrong, Black takes players through eight long, enemy-filled levels as they chase a mysterious terror group through Europe. Said missions are pretty diverse, including vast dockyards, a fortified asylum and a vast, darkened forest dotted with cave complexes and enemy camps. In each one, though, your mission is the same: Collect or destroy hidden documents, blow up as much stuff as possible and kill just about everything that moves.
