BioShock 'n' awe
New trailer showboats combat of Irrational's overwhelming underwater shooter
Check out our brand new trailer for BioShock, a shooter with brains to match its brawn. This time, you'll be given a guided tour of Fisheries section of Rapture city, the submerged sci-fi setting for this smart but creepy FPS.
Featuring commentary from game director Ken Levine, the trailer details the open-ended approaches that are possiblevia BioShock's imaginative combat system. You'll see three run-throughs of the Fisheries - thoughtless all-out blasting, environmental manipulation and exploitation of the fearsome "Big Daddy" enemies - and each time you'll see different tactics reaping different results.
Once you've had a taste of BioShock's inventive flexibility, you'll likely start bubbling with your very own schemes for turning a puddle of water into a death trap for melty-faced mutants. And, come its release next month, you can finally put them into action.
Above: See some 'Shock tactics in action, mostly involving brainwashing enemies or abusing the world around you. No head shots required
