Bill Hader to star in Judd Apatows Trainwreck
Funnyman lands big part in new comedy
Former Saturday Night Live comedian Bill Hader has been cast in minor supporting parts for some of the biggest comedies released in the last decade, but now it looks like he might finally break out into bigger roles.
According to Variety, Hader is in talks to star in Judd Apatow’s new film Trainwreck .
The critic-baitingly titled film sees Apatow directing but, unusually, not writing the script, which has come from Amy Schumer.
Plot details are scarce at the moment, but the film is said to focus on a woman – to be played by Schumer – who is rebuilding her ruined life.
There’s no word yet on how Hader fits into this, but the film reportedly contains parts for Schumer’s boyfriend and her co-worker, so he may be playing either one of those.
Hader is currently enjoying great reviews for his dramatic part in Sundance film The Skeleton Twins .
