The best totally original PS Vita launch game? Escape Plan. Watch as we complete the demo
New game is good
The thing that gets most gamers excited for a new console launch is the prospect of playing their favourite games on a shiny new system. Case in point: the thought of playing Wipeout, Everybody's Golf, Lumines, Katamari, Rayman Origins, FIFA and Uncharted on Sony's electronical gadgetron has got my excitement vibes vigorously vibrating for Vita. But let's not overlook the new games. The originals. The ones we've never played before. Games exactly like Escape Plan, in fact.
A lovely puzzle game played using Vita's front and rear touchy bits, the demo's grey and oppressive factory level reminds me of Nazi Germany. Or at least my idea of what Nazi Germany would have been like. Obviously I never experienced it first hand. Which I'm glad about. But as you'll see, Escape Plan is much more playful and light-hearted than Nazi Germany. Watch the demo being played now please:
Don't worry Lil and Laarg - I promise I will be back to rescue you completely from the evil Bakuki as soon as I can (i.e. 22 February).
