Best cheap PS5 game deals – all the latest sales in December 2024
Here's where to get cheap PS5 games at their lowest prices
Sony hasn't exactly been racing exclusive titles out the doors, so there are actually quite a few cheap PS5 game deals to get your hands on these days. From earlier launch titles to the biggest games of the last year, we regularly see plenty of discounts on exclusive titles.
Once you've got your hands on a great PS5 bundle, it's only natural to scour the web to see what other fantastic experiences are available for Sony's gaming machine. Thankfully, there are plenty, be that Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank, Demon's Souls, or otherwise. Best of all, we're finding these titles – as well as numerous PS4 games enhanced for PS5 – receiving major cuts from their standard RRP in today's PS5 game sales.
We've even seen newer releases seeing decent discounts shortly after launch. Since the standard price of a video game has increased in the last couple of years, these cheap PS5 game deals are proving more vital than ever before. You'll find all the latest offers just below.
Today's best cheap PS5 game deals
- Amazon: save on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and more
- Best Buy: $10 off 2024 PS5 game releases
- GameStop: Up to 40% off

Astro Bot
MSRP: $59.99 / £59.99
Team ASOBI's Astro Bot is a love letter to the PS5 and all of Sony's past PlayStation consoles. A ton of classic and forgotten PlayStation icons make cameos in this polished, charming, and blissfully fun platformer.
Despite releasing in September 2024, Astro Bot has still received some discounts. In the US it's only dropped $3.51 off its MSRP of $59 at Amazon, but UK PS5 owners have been luckier with a 10% deal, taking it down to £53.99 at Amazon. With decent discounts already hitting the very recent release, we'll likely see even bigger price slashes with Black Friday and the holidays right around the corner.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered
MSRP: $49.99 / £44.99
The Last of Us Part 2 got its own remaster at the top of 2024, coming in cheaper than a full priced game. We've already seen some solid savings here to boot.
Note: This is only for those who don't currently own the PS4 version of the game. If you do, you can upgrade your experience to the full PS5 remaster for just $10 / £10 more.
Marvel Spider-Man 2
MSRP: $69.99 / £69.99
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has been resistant to discounts since it launched, but with a few savings in the UK it's only a matter of time before this official sequel runs down the price ladder stateside as well.
Final Fantasy 16
MSRP: $69.99 / £59.99
Final Fantasy 16 is here, and we're seeing those savings rolling in. It took a little while, but the latest Square Enix release has been dropped as low as $35 / £29.99 so if you spot a price hovering around this area up above you're getting a great discount.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
MSRP: $69.99 / £59.99
Picking up five years following the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Respawn returns to a galaxy far, far away in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The next-gen action adventure has young Jedi Knight Cal Kestis on the run from the Galactic Empire. Since releasing in April 2023, we've seen common discounts of $10 from the likes of Amazon and expect it to fall even further in the upcoming holiday sales.
God of War Ragnarok
MSRP: $69.99 / £69.99
It's hard to talk about PlayStation 5 without discussing the behemoth that is God of War Ragnarok. Serving as a sequel to the beloved God of War (2018), there are few games that reach a level in storytelling, character development, combat, side-missions, lore, scale, and graphic fidelity like this. It picks up as Kratos and his son, Atreus, must prepare for the end of days, Ragnarok. The thrilling action adventure from Sony Santa Monica brings the Norse saga to an epic conclusion that will be talked about for years to come.
Since launching in November 2022, Ragnarok has seen multiple discounts. The sequel regularly dipped down to the $50 mark just a year after release, and all the way to its lowest price of $34.99 last December. Currently, you can find God of War Ragnarok to be 45% off its MSRP in the US, and 40% off in the UK.
The Last of Us Part 1
MSRP: $69.99 / £64.99
With the HBO Max adaption making waves worldwide, developer Naughty Dog remade The Last of Us from the ground up to match the same graphics that its sequel achieved. The story of Joel and Ellie is one for the ages, as the pair must travel across a post-apocalyptic US in hope of finding a cure for a fungal plague. It's every bit as good as you've heard.
Launching in September 2022, The Last of Us Part 1 is a bit all over the place with discounts. The US can look forward to average discounts of around 20% whereas the UK can go as low as £39.99, something to definitely jump on when seen.
Gran Turismo 7
MSRP: $69.99 / £69.99
Every PlayStation gets its own Gran Turismo and PS5 is no different. Gran Turismo 7 is the first multi-console release across both PS5 and PS4 with PSVR 2 support available too. While it launched at the standard $69.99 / £69.99 price, it can now be found closer to $40 / £40 on average. Seeing the racing simulator go for under $30 / £30 is also not that uncommon.
Horizon Forbidden West
MSRP: $69.99 / £69.99
Aloy's post-apocalyptic adventure now takes the hunter to the Forbidden West, where more deadly machines roam the land and a mysterious new plague is destroying all that it touches. Featuring one of the biggest open worlds in gaming to roam, Horizon Forbidden West builds upon its original in every way with an ambitious story, deep side-missions, and gorgeous graphics that really show the power of the PS5. Some retailers in the US are knocking off more than 30% while it can even drop to as low as £19.99 in the UK.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
MSRP: $49.99 / £49.99
Nathan Drake's Swansong and Chloe Frazer's spinoff adventure make up Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. With new PS5 features such as upgraded audio, DualSense features and new graphical modes, this is the best way to experience two of the best action adventures in video games. The price had dropped significantly since launch and you can get it for below $30 / £30 quite frequently now.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
MSRP: $69.99 / £69.99
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the Pixar-like third-person shooter platformer from Insomniac Games, is full of whimsy and wonder. Its combat is terrifically imaginative, while also featuring comedic writing that hits for both kids and adults alike. As the biggest PS5 exclusive to date, the price can often be found at 40% off the typical RRP.
Silent Hill 2
MSRP: $69.99 / £69.99
The original game was a staple of the PS2's game library, and 23 years later Silent Hill 2 has returned to the PlayStation lineup, this time for the PS5.
The horror remake received its first discount over Black Friday 2024 where it saw savings of around $10 off its hefty MSRP of $69.99. For a moment, it dropped all the way to just $30 however, you're more likely to see it sitting still above $50 if, just like Mary, there's no big sales event to be found.
