The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty has released a first trailer online, in which Ben Stiller's day-dreamer escapes the tedium of his 9-5, by disappearing into his own head.
A remake of the classic 1947 film, the story sees Stiller play bored office worker Walter Mitty, who spends his days creating elaborate fantasy worlds for himself in which he gets to live a life of adventure while romancing co-worker Kristen Wiig.
However, when both their jobs are threatened in the real world, Walter finally shakes off his lethargy and sets off on a global journey to introduce some genuine excitement into his life.

After a packed blockbuster season, this has to go down as one of the most original and intriguing trailers we've seen in a long time, the film's offbeat tone sitting nicely alongside the track by Of Monsters And Men. Colour us excited!
Directed by Stiller and co-starring Sean Penn, Adam Scott and Patton Oswalt, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty opens in the US on 25 December 2013, before opening in the UK on 26 December 2013.
