Game: Neverwinter Nights 2
Birth the perfect dwarf
Some people believe role-playing games are about role-playing. If you’re reading this article, you’re not one of them. You’re one of those people who’d do anything, anything, just to get that final +1 to hit. Here’s a character build you might enjoy.
1) Choose a Dwarf as your basis. Set it up with a high strength and constitution. Leave everything else middling, but give up entirely on charisma. A six will be fine. You’re not a lover: you’re a fighter.
2) Start playing. As you progress through the game, start leveling as a fighter. At level five, go for Bard. From there, the next ten should be Dragon Disciples, before rounding out into five Frenzied Beserkers. The only thing to worry about in skills is getting eight ranks in Lore to let you select Dragon Disciple.
3) In terms of your advancement, lob everything you have into strength at every point. In terms of feats, Power Attack and all its children are a must, especially Knockdown and Improved Knockdown. Get Weapon Focus and specialize in something big and two-handed - whatever you wish to cut right through monsters.

4) By level 15 you’re going to be completely immune to fire. With the stat bonuses you’ve spent, plus the bonuses from your Dragon Disciple, plus whatever equipment you’ve got, you’re going to have a strength of upwards of 30. Expect to deliver criticals over 100, and that’s before you even apply Frenzy. Your obscene strength should mean that even the hardest bosses spend most of their time in your company sitting on their asses thanks to Knockdown. Ouch.
