Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand hits PS3 on Dec 6, PC and 360 versions arriving one week later
Sony players will see their preorder bonus next Tuesday
Back to Karkand features Frostbite 2 remasters of four Battlefield 2 levels: Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula. The pack also adds Battlefield 2's Conquest Assault mode, which ups the stakes of the basic Assault mode. It's not all recycled content, though, as the pack also adds three vehicles, ten new weapons, and added Dog Tags and Achievement/Trophy points.
We previewed Back to Karkand recently and were definitely happy with the BF2 maps' transition to the new game. If you preordered, the pack is a God-given right to be pried from your cold dead hands; otherwise, expect to fork over $14.99 or 1200 MSP for the added content.
