Backwards compatibility comes to Xbox One in November
The Xbox One is going to get an additional 100 games in its library when backwards compatibility becomes available to the public in November 2015. No word on what games are coming, but Microsoft confirmed support from publishers like Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Bethesda, Warner Bros, and many more. These games will join the dozen or so Microsoft-published titles currently available to Xbox Preview Program members.
But that's not all: every single free title provided by Games With Gold going forward will be backwards compatible on Xbox One on the same day. The best part? Backwards compatibility is 100% free to all users - simply pop the compatible disc in or check your digital library when titles are made available. Be sure to check the complete list of all current backwards compatible titles on Xbox One.
