The second Prime Day for 2024 is done, but some deals haven't expired.

Whether you're after PS5 games, rare Nintendo Switch first-party discounts, PC peripherals or a new Xbox controller, we've got only the best and most worthwhile offers listed below. We've been following all these events for years now, and we watch bundle, accessory, and game prices all year round. That means we can spot the deals that need your attention.

Without further ado:
Amazon Prime | 30-day free trial
You will need an Amazon Prime membership to take part in this year's sale, but the retailer regularly offers free trials to get as many eyes on its site as possible. This 30 day offer will see you all the way through the sale without paying a cent!
PS5
Given GTA 5 has sold over 200 million copies, it's probably unlikely you don't already own it. But, in case you don't (or in case you do, but another another platform you don't wanna play it on) here it is for a tidy AU$24. It has sold very well and is obviously a very good videogame, so it obviously comes highly recommended.
Save AU$65.95
This is a whole AU$4 cheaper than it was during the last Prime Day. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the most critically acclaimed Star Wars game for quite some time, and is the best fix you'll get this side of Star Wars Outlaws. In our Star Wars: Jedi Survivor review we gave the sequel 4.5 stars, writing that "Cal's new adventure is a mature, twisting narrative that establishes a new group of heroes and challenges what a modern Star Wars story can be."
Xbox
Save AU$83.83
This is a very steep discount on a massive Bethesda RPG, and it's an especially good time to grab it with the recent release of the Shattered Space expansion (which is sold separately). Sure, reviews were divisive (our own review was glowingly positive), but if you're fond of earlier Bethesda RPGs in the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series this is basically a must-play. Note that if you're a Game Pass member, this game comes included with that service.
PC

If you want a gaming laptop that won't look too conspicuous in an office environment, Razer's Blade lappies are pretty much among the best you'll find. It ain't affordable, even with a discount, but if you need an upgrade this may be a tempting price. It's a 2023 model, and its specs are still impressive: it boasts a 15.6-inch 240Hz 1440p display, an RTX 4070 graphics chip, and Razer's famously robust form factor.

This is a pleasantly lightweight wireless mouse with great responsiveness and unwavering wireless connectivity. Obviously, you're going to need to enjoy the look of the thing above all else: it may trigger trypophobia in some. Jacob rated it highly in his 2021 review.

Glorious is hardly a household name but this is a mouse we can recommend: In Katie's review it's described as "the lightest RGB mouse around", and it better be, with all those holes. The ambidextrous affair is "optimized for competitive gaming", and has a 1000hz polling rate. At this price, it may be worth just getting one and filing it away as a back up to your main moues.
Save AU$723.45
This 5900X CPU is a powerful chip: 12 cores, 24 threads, and plenty of grunt for whatever gaming you want to throw at it. Our colleagues over at PC Gamer were well-impressed, writing that it's a "phenomenal processor that is as good in serious apps as it is games, no other 'mainstream' chip really comes close."
Save AU$126.48
This price safely beats all the competition, so if you're in the market for this particular chip now is definitely the time to bite. It's a solid all-rounder for gaming and productivity alike; Nick was impressed when he tested it in July, writing that "it might be just a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with slower clocks, but you're still getting great gaming performance for a lot less money."
