Asuras Wrath comes out February 21 and continues to be insane
Europe gets intensely angry game February 24
Not too many games include extended fights using only kicks and copious head-butts, nor do they involve punching blood-red gorillas. Asura’s Wrath breaks all those rules as one of the angriest, most nonsensically violent games to date. Now we finally know when consumers will get a chance to buy the nutty game (February 21), and we have a few new trailers that supply some unnecessary backstory in addition to more crazy brutality.
As you can see from the above story trailer, Asura’s tale seems to be similar to many classic revenge narratives like Gladiator and Lone Wolf and Cub, though those plots don’t feature a man screaming for vengeance as he burns up reentering Earth’s atmosphere. Which is followed by an old fashioned monkey beat down that ends logically enough with punching a giant turtle:
If any of the action in Capcom and CyberConnect 2’s wild game enticed you, you’ll be happy to know it’ll be out sooner than expected. It’s coming out February 21 next year in the US and three days later on the 24th in Europe.
