Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood to receive more free DLC in 2011

Ubisoft has announced that its next batch of DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, the Animus Project Update 2.0, will again be absolutely free and ready to infiltrate the PSN and XBLA as early as next month.

Not to be confused with the free Animus Project Update 1.0 that was released today, the second update is set to bulk up AC: Brotherhood's multiplayer experience with a new mode called Chest Capture, wherein two teams of three will be tasked with helping Templars defend or capture chests. It will also add a new Pienza Map and a Templar score feature which is said to %26ldquo;reward diligent work by Abstergo recruits."

Two free DLC packs in the span of the month? Oh, Ubisoft, you had me at requiescat in pace.

The Animus Project Update 2.0 isn't due for another month, but you can enjoy the new Advanced Alliance mode and Mont Saint-Michel multiplayer map that came with the 1.0 update today. Its trailer is below:
