Video game movies, by and large, don't have the greatest reputation.
But when Michael Fassbender announced he would be producing and starring in an adaptation of one of the biggest gaming franchises of the moment - Assassin's Creed - our interest was certainly peaked.
A-List talent + kick-ass action (assassinating throughout the ages) + and an intriguing sci-fi hook = future box office gold.
So we met up with the people closest to the series - the designers, producers and architects behind the forthcoming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag video game (available the end of November on Xbox One), to grill them on who they think Fassbender will play, what key AC tenets they need to make a movie work, and a rundown of their own favourite movie assassins of all time.
