Annabelle 2's teaser won't help your fear of dolls thanks to Lights Out director David F. Sandberg
Don't like dolls? What is it that scares you? Those glassy eyes? Fixed grins? Ability to kill all of those who stand in their way? Annabelle, the haunted doll from James Wan's The Conjuring, got her own spin off movie in 2014 and, to be honest, it wasn't great but there's good news in the darkness.
Annabelle 2 is coming to cinemas in May next year and has none other than Lights Out director David F. Sandberg at the horrific helm. This is a great pick and, as you can see from the gentle slow burn of a teaser above, he's got his finger on the scare pulse. Love the crucifix tumbling next to the red shoes. You're not in Kansas anymore...
Horror movie maestro James Wan is on production duties so hopefully this is a scarier offering than the porcelain nightmare's original outing. Fingers crossed.
