A new batch of images have arrived online from Disney’s Into The Woods , giving us a good look at the A-list cast in all its fairytale glory.
First of all, there’s Anna Kendrick looking resplendent as Cinderella, while Chris Pine cuts a dash as a horse-riding Prince Charming.
Then there’s Johnny Depp’s Big Bad Wolf, who appears to be sporting a very sober outfit, as opposed to any sort of elaborate costume or CGI trickery. Not that Depp isn’t convinced he will be a visually arresting character when we finally get to see him in action…
“Rob Marshall wasn’t afraid to let me take the role to a level of heightened reality,” says Depp to EW , “almost cartoon-like, where one second the Wolf is here, and then, boom, suddenly he’s over there.”
Directed by Marshall and co-starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and James Corden, Into The Woods will open in the UK on 9 January 2015.
