Andy Fickman to direct Boy Scouts Vs. Zombies
New horror-comedy coming to town
Vampires may be all the rage at the moment, but it seems zombies are making an attempt to degore them as horror’s current favourite monster.
After last year’s epic Zombieland , not only do we have Natalie Portman’s Pride & Prejudice & Zombies to look forward to, but also a new horror-comedy called Boy Scouts Vs. Zombies .
Production Weekly have revealed that director Andy Fickman is set to helm the flick, though all we have so far is that nutso title and a few names, with PW Tweeting:
Andy Fickman is attached to direct the horror/comedy spec "Boy Scouts vs. Zombies" written by Carrie Evans & Emi Mochizuki.
Which sums things up in a nutshell. Except we don’t know anything about plot or cast yet – y’know, the important stuff.
What we do know is that Evans and Mochizuki also scribed College Road Trip , but we won’t hold that against them if they can dream up an awesome script to go with that awesome title.
It sounds like B-horror heaven, and if Boy Scouts does well, you can pretty much count on a sequel called Girl Guides Vs. Zombies ...
