All Rainbow Six Siege post-launch DLC maps will be free
It's definitely not going unnoticed that devs like CD Projekt Red have set a trend by dishing out endless free DLC. Ubisoft has announced that all of the incoming downloadable maps for Rainbow Six Siege will be entirely free of charge on their release.
“At launch, Rainbow Six Siege will have 11 maps, playable both day or night, all using the full potential of our Real Blast destruction technology," says Ubi's statement. "In addition, all post-launch maps will be downloadable for free. We want players to stay with us for the long term and have ambitious post-launch plans that we will detail at a later stage.”
Free is a four letter word we like in DLC land and these "ambitious post-launch plans" sound suitably intriguing. Remember, the closed beta for Rainbow Six starts on September 24th before its December 1st release date. If you haven't got a beta code, you can join the waiting list on the official site here.
