Albert Brooks confirmed for Finding Nemo 2
The voice of Marlin returns
Finding Nemo 2 has taken a significant step forward with the announcement that Albert Brooks has signed on to the voice cast, reprising his role as over-anxious dad, Marlin.
We first heard word of the Nemo sequel some six months ago, when it was announced that John Carter helmer Andrew Stanton would be filling the director's chair.
That news was swiftly followed by the confirmation that Ellen DeGenres would be reprising as the scatter-brained Dory, although nothing more has been confirmed until now.
No plot details have been released as yet, although given the casting announcements, we can assume that Dory and Marlin will be the primary players once again.
We're also waiting on a release date for this one, but with Pixar's mega-busy schedule to take into account, we'd be surprised if Finding Nemo 2 saw open water before 2016 at the very earliest.
Oh, and if you're craving a Nemo fix in the meantime, the 3D re-release of the original hits UK cinemas Friday 29 March 2013.
