Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. gets a spin-off show: Marvels Most Wanted

Not so long ago, we heard that ABC was planning an Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off series focusing on the characters of Mockingbird and Lance Hunter, only for those plans to be shelved when it came time for renewals and pickups. However, the project has since been brought back off the scrap-heap, with Variety reporting that the network has ordered a pilot for the new show.

The new show will apparently be called Marvel’s Most Wanted, and will focus upon the exploits of the aforementioned characters, played by Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood. Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski, who currently serve as producers on the parent show, are set to take on the role of showrunners.

At present its unclear how Mockingjay and Hunter’s exploits will feed into the main series, or indeed whether any of the rest of the supporting cast will crop up along the way. According to the report, the pilot will be “solely focused on the two characters”, although should it receive a full series order, we’d be surprised not to see some familiar faces along the way.
