Why you can trust 12DOVE
It’s a cat-eat-cat world for the stars of this “disneynature” doc, which sees two prides of lions and a coalition of cheeky cheetahs fight for their right to live and hunt in south west Kenya’s Masai Mara wildlife reserve. Yet even with narrator samuel l Jackson jawing away (was Morgan “Voice of God” freeman not available for once?) there’s little here to frighten the kiddies or give parents paws. directors Keith scholey and alastair fothergill primly cut away before fangs enter jugulars and opt not to explain how sita the cheetah came by her five cuddly cubs. still, an absolute must-see for fans of roar footage.
