Or Umberto Lenzi, the Italian film director who made La Casa 3 , intended as a sequel after the first two Evil Dead s were released in Italy as La Casa 1 & 2 . La Casa 3 went on to spawn a sequel of its own starring The Exorcist ’s Linda Blair and The Hoff himself, David Hasselhoff.

Evil Dead , the new terrifying new version of the horror classic, hits UK cinemas on 18 April . It stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas and is directed by Fede Alvarez.
