What Happens In Vegas (2008)
The Movie: Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz pull off the not inconsiderable feat of making it impossible to root for either of them, in this ill-tempered comedy.
Unlikeable characters equals minimal humour.
Worst Gag: Kutcher and Diaz offer each other gifts of tampax and beer respectively.

Jack & Jill (2011)
The Movie: How do you make Adam Sandler more irritating?
By casting him in dual roles, one of which requires him to drag-up and play his own twin sister. Urgh.
Worst Gag: The protracted humiliation of Al Pacino, which truly has to be seen to be believed. For shame…
Dude, Where's My Car? (2001)
The Movie: A stoner comedy that turns out to contain next to no drug-taking and even fewer laughs.
Seann William Scott is better than this. Ashton Kutcher seems right at home.
Worst Gag: The fact that the "twin" girlfriends look nothing alike is half-hearted stuff indeed.
Six Days Seven Nights (1998)
The Movie: Anne Heche and Harrison Ford share precisely zero chemistry in this tedious rom-com actioner, while a swashbuckling subplot does little to enliven proceedings.
Worst Gag: Any of their beach-set bickering, which is every bit as draining as a real-life argument.
The Pink Panther 2 (2009)
The Movie: Steve Martin's first take on Inspector Clouseau was hamfisted but not altogether unlikeable.
This second outing meanwhile, busies itself killing the franchise stone dead.

Worst Gag: A retread of the hamburger gag.

Disaster Movie (2008)
The Movie: An aptly-named mish-mash of movie "spoofery" which strays far and wide from its supposed target.
Would we consider Juno a disaster movie?
Worst Gag: Kim Kardashian's cat-fight with Carmen Electra, which scores big on cynicism, but couldn't be considered "funny" by anyone's criteria.
Fat Slags (2004)
The Movie: Lumbering out of the pages of viz magazine, the titular chubsters are stripped of all their best lines and armed instead with chirpy Northern accents and fat-suits.
Worst Gag: Geri Halliwell's cameo in which she attempts to gain weight through the "Fatkins" diet.
The Adventures Of Pluto Nash (2002)
The Movie: Eddie Murphy plays an intergalactic nightclub owner in this dire sci-fi pastiche.
At least he refrains from dragging-up at any point…
Worst Gag: Pluto and his girlfriend get hologram makeovers in which he hilariously insists on an increase in her breast size.
Oh Eddie…
Grown Ups (2010)
The Movie: Adam Sandler and his comedy buddies gather round to congratulate each other on being wildly amusing. somebody left a camera on and the whole sorry mess finally wound up in cinemas.
The less said the better.
Worst Gag: Rob Schneider getting off with an old woman. HA HA HA!
Swept Away (2002)
The Movie: Madonna stars in this memorable turkey as a rich bitch who spends the majority of the movie berating dreamy sailor Adrianno Giannini before eventually falling for him.
Laughs meanwhile, are conspicuous by their absence.
Worst Gag: Madonna wittily refers to Giannini's character as Pee-Pee, leading the viewer to hope for a tsunami, double quick...
