40 Most Awkward Sex Scenes
Oo-la-la… ouch
Body Of Evidence (1992)
The Sex Scene: Madonna's the tricksy Rebecca Carlson, who may or may not have murdered her considerably older lover.
Meanwhile, Willem Dafoe's her lawyer Frank, a happily married man. Well, happily married until he meets Rebecca and she starts getting naked.
Most Awkward Moment: Rebecca grabs a candle and starts dripping wax on his private bits… Ouch.
Coneheads (1993)
The Sex Scene: Connie Conehead (Michelle Burke) decides the time has come for her to go that next step with boyfriend Ronnie (Chris Farley).
Yep, they're going to have inter-species sex.
Most Awkward Moment: This being alien sex, it mostly just consists of Ronnie putting a senso-ring over Connie's conehead…
American Pie (1999)
The Sex Scene: To put it quite bluntly, Jim (Jason Biggs) has sex with the apple pie that his mother's just freshly baked and left in the kitchen.
But only because he wants to know what it feels like to be with a woman. Not because he has a pie fetish or anything.
Most Awkward Moment: Jim's dad walks in on him. Then wants to talk about it in detail.
Shoot 'Em Up (2007)
The Sex Scene: Smith's (Clive Owen) 'special time' with prostitute Donna (Monica Bellucci) is rudely interrupted by a gang of masked men with guns, who break into their motel room and start firing.
Most Awkward Moment : Uh, instead of letting Donna go, Smith continues to ride her while shooting the bad guys.
Ridiculous.
Fritz The Cat (1972)
The Sex Scene : Fritz is one horny tomcat, so he has plenty of raunchy experiences throughout his motion picture debut.
The most awkward is probably the massive orgy, but, really, take your pick.
Most Awkward Moment: Nobody wants to see cats having sex, do they? That's not a thing, is it?
Crash (1996)
The Sex Scene: Auto-fetishist James Ballard (James Spader) gets his kicks from having sex in the wreckage of car crashes.
In one of his most unusual conquests, he has sex with Gabrielle (Rosanna Arquette), whose legs are in steel braces.
Most Awkward Moment: Ballard has sex with a scar on the back of Gabrielle's thigh, which isn't the most graceful place to put your you-know-what.
Knocked Up (2007)
The Sex Scene: A heavily-pregnant Alison (Katherine Heigl) demands that Ben (Seth Rogen) have sex with her, despite the fact that she's about ready to pop the sprog out.
Most Awkward Moment: Well, just all of it, really. It looks and sounds uncomfortable for everybody involved.

Secretary (2002)
The Sex Scene: A tense-looking Lee Holloway (Maggie Gyllenhaal) is ordered by her boss, Mr Grey (James Spader) to bend over his desk and read him a letter.
Oh, and that's while he's mercilessly spanking her. It's like foreplay, Jim, but not as we know it.
Most Awkward Moment: The whole scene has an awkward atmosphere that makes us glad we didn't watch this one with our parents.
Still, Lee and Mr Grey (hang on a minute, MR GREY?) seem to be enjoying themselves, so where's the harm?
Videodrome (1983)
The Sex Scene: Max Renn (James Woods) and Nicki Brand (Debbie Harry) finally consummate their relationship, which mostly consists of Max dominating Brand.
She ends up with a back covered in lacerations.
Most Awkward Moment: Brand demands that Max put a cigarette out on her breast. Yeah, we get that all the time…
Superbad (2007)
The Sex Scene: In a miracle of drunken wooing, Evan (Michael Cera) ends up in bed with crush Becca (Martha MacIsaac), but things start to go south (in a bad way) when it becomes clear that Becca's really, really drunk.
Most Awkward Moment: As if using the phrase "blow-jay" wasn't bad enough, Becca then vomits everywhere. And starts crying…
