3DS US launch games finally announced

With the 3DS launch a little more than a month away, it’s about time Nintendo’s US branch at last revealed what games will be available when March 27 rolls around. 16 total games are hitting retail the same time as the new handheld, but are all of them winners?

Pilotwings Resort

Steel Diver

Nintendogs + Cats

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition

The Sims 3

Madden NFL Football

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

Ridge Racer 3D

Super Monkey Ball 3D

Bust-A-Move Universe

Samurai Warriors: Chronicles

Asphalt 3D

Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D

Rayman 3D

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars

Perhaps you’re disappointed that some high profile games aren’t on this list, like Dead or Alive Dimensions or Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. Well, it’s probable those titles will be coming out in the “launch window,” a generous phrase Nintendo uses to describe the time between March 27and E3 in early June.

Meanwhile, the UK launch line-up, which was revealed a couple weeks ago, has seven fewer games, but if it’s any consolation to our friends across the pond, you do get the system two days before us. Here’s the UK launch list.

Nintendogs + Cats
Super Monkey Ball 3D
Asphalt 3D
Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars
Super Street Fighter IV 3D
Rayman 3D
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars 3D
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D
Pro Evolution Soccer 3D
