3D Realms: "Big announcement" imminent
And it's not related to Duke Nukem Forever
3D Realms has dropped hints that it's to reveal a brand new game shortly.
"I can say that we have a big announcement coming in the next four weeks," the developer's newly appointed creative director Raphael Van Lierop told website Gamasutra.
Van Lierop, who has joined 3D Realms after producing the RTS Company of Heroes, confirmed the announcement isn't related to the long-awaited Duke Nukem Forever. Max Payne 3 then, maybe? Or Prey 2?
Above: Sorry, Duke, you're going to have to wait a bit longer...
And he spoke too of a second potential non-DNF announcement from the developer this year. "...I'm not sure, but I believe we have another major announcement coming in the next four to six months..."
But what did he have to say about the infamous Duke sequel?

"I've seen it. I've played it. And I really believe that when it does come out people won't be disappointed," Van Lierop said.
