Another snippet of news from Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hryb was dropped through hisweekly podcast. In addition to some in-depth news on the upcomingXbox Live dashboard update, he also announced the release date for the Xbox Live Vision Camera as September 19 for North America and October 2 for Europe and Asia (except Japan).
The new camera's functionality stretches beyond simple web-cam functionality by supporting certain Xbox Live titles like Uno and Texas Hold 'em Poker, so that you can stare into the steely eyes of your poker-faced (or Uno -faced) opponents. The camera is also slated to support video conferencing and video emails as well as personalizing your gamertag with a photo of your actual, real-life self.
