30 Best Movie Slobs
Fat, lazy, high…
Mary - Precious (2009)
The Movie Slob: The abusive mother of 16-year-old Clarice Precious Jones (Gabourey Sidibe), Mary (Mo'Nique) is a Harlem-dwelling layabout who doesn't care for anybody but herself.
Unemployed and surviving on welfare money, she's both verbally and physically abusive, taking out her violent rage on her daughter.
Grossest Moment: Mary turns up to tell Precious that her father has died of AIDS…
Kevin - Kevin & Perry Go Large (2000)
The Movie Slob: "THAT IS SO UNFAIR!"
Just your average smelly teenager, Kevin (Harry Enfield) is spotty, greasy and moody, throwing wobblies over tiny things (like passing the salt) and living for the day he'll finally meet a girl who isn't repulsed by him.
Grossest Moment: Where do we start? If it's not fantasies about Anne Boleyn, it's, well, swallowing a poo in the sea…
Stephanie - 8 Mile (2002)
The Movie Slob: Though she's got movie-star good looks, Stephanie (Kim Basinger) is actually a raging alcoholic whose beauty belies an inner ugliness.
Reliant on men for money, she refuses to work and expects everybody else to carry her. She also calls her son 'Rabbit' and swears in front of her kids, which is always a parenting no-no.
Grossest Moment: Stephanie has sex on the living room sofa, fully aware that at any second her son (Eminem) could come walking in.
Myers Family - Halloween (2007)
The Movie Slobs : A family who pretty much define the term 'white trash'. The Myers brood live in Haddonfield, Illinois, where their home looks like a tip and nobody works. Ever.
No wonder Michael decides to kill them all…
Grossest Moment: Judith (Hanna R. Hall) is hit on by her mother's boyfriend. Shiver.
Alan - The Hangover (2009)
The Movie Slob: Alan (Zach Galifianakis) kicks off the Wolf Pack's first blackout night of madness when he spikes their drinks to ensure they have a good time.
Basically, he's a whirlwind of carnage who's socially inept and totally clueless when it comes to things like responsibility, personal hygiene and social decency.
Grossest Moment: Alan slices the palm of his hand so that he can become blood brothers with the rest of the Wolf Pack…
Bill & Ted - Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991)
The Movie Slobs: Successful music stars Bill S. Preston, Esq. (Alex Winter) and Ted "Theodore" Logan (Keanu Reeves), who are obviously so often on the road touring with their band, Wyld Stallyns, that they don't have time to clean their apartment.
Grossest Moment: Any time they throw empty food packets and/or cans on the floor instead of the bin. Honestly.
Humans - WALL-E (2008)
The Movie Slob: The entire human race has transformed into a bloated army of fatsoes in Pixar's futuristic sci-fi.
They're so greedy and bloated, in fact, that they've almost entirely lost the use of their legs and now depend on floating pods to get around.
Grossest Moment: The state they left Earth in is pretty much as grim as it gets.

Ben Stone - Knocked Up (2007)
The Movie Slob: A self-confessed stoner and lazy bones, Ben (Seth Rogen) does barely any work for a living, instead surviving off pay-outs he receives as compensation for a previous injury.
He's not, in other words, the kind of guy you'd recommend bringing a kid into the world after having a one-night stand.
Grossest Moment: The only bit of work Ben does? He runs a celebrity porn website alongside his roomies. Classy.
Sloth Victim - Se7en (1995)
The Movie Slob : A tortured creature (literally), this guy's known only as Sloth Victim (Michael Reid McKay).
Tied to a bed, he's a victim of John Doe (Kevin Spacey), who's punishing people who've fallen prey to the seven deadly sins by killing them in grim but creative ways.
Grossest Moment: Turns out Sloth isn't dead yet, despite resembling a withered corpse…
Guy On Couch - Half-Baked (1998)
The Movie Slob: A guy who's so lazy that he doesn't even have a name, instead being referred to as Guy On The Couch (Steven Wright), this dude only wakes up if somebody offers him something.
Like a smoke. Or a different kind of smoke. Basically, a smoke.
Grossest Moment: Guy On The Couch is so lazy that he doesn't even speak - instead, he flings notes if he really has to communicate something.
