2012 Golden Globes nominees announced

The nominees for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards have been announced, and The Artist is continuing its awards-attracting streak.

It has nods in the Best Musical Or Comedy, Actor (Musical Or Comedy), Supporting Actress, Director, Screenplay and Score categories. This'll surely do nothing to quieten the silent, black-and-white film’s Oscar buzz....

We were also pleased to see Kristen Wiig get some love for Bridesmaids , and it’s good to see Hugo up for Best Drama, but where the heck is The Tree Of Life hiding?

And while it’s not exactly surprising, it’s a bit of a shame to see Drive only snatch one nom (though Albert Brooks really deserves that Supporting Actor shout).
