The Plot: After ad man Aldo Bowers walks under a ladder en route to work, it seems he's beaten superstition after winning a new account for mysterious client, Nathaniel Porter.
However, by walking under the ladder, Aldo has insulted the Holy Trinity and paved the way for Porter - the Devil himself - to reclaim the Earth through subliminal advertising.

The Plot: In a post-apocalyptic Earth where there is no more vegetation, a single tree grows.
People come from all around to steal this symbolic twig, and a gun-toting gardener is the only man who can fend off the hordes and let the tree grow.
