Best new weapon? It's called the Groovitron. The latest addition to Ratchet & Clank's already massive arsenal makes enemies dance to a grenade-style disco ball. But you still can't help thinking that they've just put it in to show how well Insomniac can "do" lightshows on PS3.
After the arena-based Ratchet: Deadlocked, the furry Lombax and his shiny pal are going back to their platforming roots for their PS3 debut. A new villain called Tachyon's enlisted Captain Qwark to kill all Lombaxes and... you know what? Forget the plot. Just think about enormous, Fifth Element-style levels, stunning 3D space combat, genuine two-player Clank-control sections and a new gun called the Tornado Launcher. And be happy.
