12 Best unconventional movie weapons
From chainsaw-arms to vegetables, we have the weirdest ways to off a guy
Gremlins 2 - Office supplies
Just as a hulking spider gremlin is about to feast upon Phoebe Cates, our favorite Mogwai Gizmo appears, decked out in a Rambo headband and the best makeshift weaponry you could create in a cubicle. By stretching out a paperclip and attaching a rubber band, you have an instant bow, while a sharpened pencil with flaming whiteout on the end gave us the perfect arrow. We tried this exactly once before getting grounded.
Master of the Flying Guillotine - Flying Guillotine
Looking like a bladed beanie attached to a rusty chain, this device was thrown by the titular assassin in this 1975 martial arts film, at which point it draped over a person’s head like a veil. By yanking the chain, the head would be ripped from the shoulders. We were picturing something similar to Kung Lao’s bladed hat, but alas, that was deemed improbable.
The Omen - Plate Glass Window
Never mind the truck placed ominously on top of that hill. Take special care to watch out for its cargo - sheets of plate glass. As the truck predictably loses ground and rolls backwards, one of these sheets flies off with the force of a bullet, cleanly slicing this guy’s head off. Roll clip!
